IN THE GLARING BLUE CLEAR SKY, WHERE WE SEE THE FOULS FLY; OR IN THE STAR-STUDDED EXUBERANT NIGHT, WE OFTEN CRAVE IN QUEST OF SOME MYSTERIOUS LIGHT; THE LIGHT FROM THE OUTER SPACE, THE LIGHT FROM SOME DIFFERENT RACE; INQUISITIVE NATURE OF HUMAN MIND, HAS ALWAYS STABED NEW FACTS TO BIND; BILLIONS OF STARS AND PLANETS FORM THE UNIVERSE, BUT LIFE ONLY ON EARTH, IS THIS A BOON OR A CURSE; NUMEROUS RESEARCHERS TRY TO CAPTURE THE FACTS ABOVE, LOOK UP FOR SOMEONE TO HATE OR TO LOVE; HOW ELATED IT WOULD FEEL TO KNOW WE ARE NOT ALONE, THERE ARE SOME MORE RACES OTHER THAN OUR OWN; BUT THIS MAY PROVE DISASTER TO OUR DYNASTY, AS THEY MAY BE GENEROUS OR MAY BE NASTY; WHATEVER IT MAY BE, THIRST FOR ADVENTURE NEVER END, THEN IT MIGHT HIT WONDERS, OR MAY BE BEND;

Overall, quite good. I do like reading about people's hopes and fears for outer space, and this was an interesting write. The last line fell down a bit, though - could you find another word instead of 'bend'? It doesn't really fit, in my opinion.
Anyway - keep writing. |
