Faeries of the Night

Contributed by Sirena_Degana on Sunday, 6th June 2004 @ 10:58:37 PM in AEST
Topic: mythology

Twinkling fallen stars.
Little porcelain specks of light
fly over your head.
A living lightning bug,
whispering spells of love and harmony.
With hair of glitter and stardust,
and wings of woven silk.
Laughter like tinkling bells,
and eyes of glass.
Don't underestimate their
small wonder of a body.
Their powers are beyond
any dark magick.
The faeries of the night.
Twinkling fallen stars;
Flying by and by.

Nice work, faeries rock, just one of many wonders that fill forests of fantastical ancient past. I like how you spelled magick the old fantasy way the k makes the word seem dark and more serious then the kind that modern day magicians practice.
