Sunken black eyes and make up covered scars
Somehow this has become her hidden face
The thoughts of those horrible encounters
Are now her final resting place.
She's buried all her painful memories
Locked all her skeleton packed closet doors
And took to a more comfortable life of bitterness
To mask all of her souls inner sores.
She found it much easier to drown out
With drugs, alcohol and sex
After all she's seen
She didnt care what came next.
She lived each day for no one
And had faith in emptiness
She never understood how anyone
Lived so quietly after so much unhappiness.
For her to find each moment
And treasure each lifeless breath
She had to drown out all the noises
With a poeticly musical death.
She planned for weeks the method
She psychotically weighed the pros and cons
When judgement day came around
All the nerve she once had was now gone...
