Dreaming and wishing
Hoping and praying
Beneath all this is good
Beneath all this is beauty
In front of all this is a future
Behind is a still and distant past
Voices still haunt this mind
Comfort comes with false realities
The true ones roar too loud
Sanity cannot endure it
Instead true reality is ignored
Maybe it will melt away
And still, I know what must be done
And all my fears are numb
All my questions are castrated
Force enables me to step ahead
One step at a time... one footprint
Leading into darkness... unknown
