Look into my heart's desire
Tell me what you see
Do you see you and me
Holding hands through eternity?
Tell me my heart's desire
I wish I could smother the fire
The fire for another
Tell me what you see
Do you see us
Holding hands through eternity?
Tell me what you see
Tell me if it's the same thing
I feel for thee
Look into my eyes
Tell me if you see your image
Imprinted with love
Or with hate's lies
Look into my eyes
To look into my soul
Look into my heart's desire
To look into my heart
Both are blackened
By the pain inflicted
Look into my heart's desire
Tell me if you see us together
Or running away from each other

I enjoyed this poem, and I thought the emotions portrayed was powerful, yet moving. I think you have great talent.
However, even the most impressive poets can use a little critique every now and then...
And in MY opinion, i think it could have used alittle more smoothness in the flow. But, then again, that's just me.
Anyhow, its a lovely write.

| Full of feeling and the power here is tops..Last stanza and the first really hit me..Perfect..You kick ass and come out on top once again.. |
