The Person in the Mirror

Contributed by slackoffsamiam on Sunday, 13th June 2004 @ 11:05:09 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I gaze into the mirror and
Ask the figure "who am I?"
I think he knows and won't clue me in
It hurts to look into the mirror
Because I can only see what I once was
And what I've come to be
I want a total rehaul of everything
I am.
To be what I want to be
Though I don't know what that is
Who am... What am I?

If I had known that I could only submit three I would have chosen better ones, I like to start off strong, first impressions are whats most important
