We are all outcast. Even inside the noblest people dwell deep dark secrets. In the darkness of the mind unimaginable horrors can emerge, creating havoc and draining the soul. Love can turn to hurt and hurt into hate and hate into despair. Sometimes just a muttered word brings forth an onslaught of pain and anguish and tears down one's spirit but builds self- doubt.
No heart can remain true. Matters of the heart generate the most terrible events, wars are started and lives lost, fore the heart looks for things it cannot have and in the struggle loses sight of its goal. Some hearts harden and push others away while others so desperate to be loved do anything for just a glimpse of anything dressed as love.
Hope may not be lost. Some cling to an unseen thing that brings comfort in times need. It is in this, people survive and carry on through the battles that can never be won. When darkness comes the promise of light comforts and soothes. Hope is not lost.
