Dry Your Eyes

Contributed by pixie on Friday, 30th July 2004 @ 12:08:02 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Dry your eyes stop those tears,
Pack away all of your fears,
I am here; give me your hand,
Ill help you walk across this land.

I have strength to share & lend,
To any of my needing friends,
Here I am if you so need,
Someone who will bandage your bleed.

I will shelter you from the pain,
Get rid of that shadowy stain,
That has been present for far too long,
& Stopping you from carrying on.

Wave goodbye to your distress,
The one that was in amongst this mess
You are now a freed soul,
No longer restricted to this hole.

Be strong & take little steps,
Inhale exhale, take some deep breaths,
I am here to cushion you if you fall,
Think of me as your protector ,your brick wall.

You know, I could really find some comfort in the confident solace of this poem. It's ever-so beautiful. Thanks for that.

Lots of love and peace be with you,

You use words in poems so brilliantly. To rhyme, to express your feelings, and I love the style you use. Great write pix
