As it happens
I don't agree
for you and me
the show has been called over;
as it happens
I don't forsee
it's gonna be
so now move over, rover.
As it happens
I am not swayed
by reasons laid
nor words of future ending;
as it happens
my hand I stayed
and boldly tried
to call it merely pending.
As it happens
my love shows
heaven knows
deterred I will not be;
as it happens
water flows
ocean grows
and thus it is with me.
