I feel so far away from that
World over there
They make it look so easy,
Do they even care
As I stand here on the other side
With wonder and amazement
My fingers clenched on a
Chained linked fence
Caught in a strange dream
And nothing makes any sense
I imagine smiling with open arms
In the sun
Joining the world, having some fun
Running and laughing
Not wanting to hide
But then like the force of the ocean
Something beyond my control
Takes me back out with the tide...
