The Rest Of Eternity

Contributed by XxNights_ChildxX on Sunday, 24th October 2004 @ 06:59:44 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The full moon rises as I stalk the black earthy floor,
The craving is so strong that I must seek out some more,
I see you through the darkness and of course you cannot escape,
I'll take all of your blood, steal your soul and your body I'll rape,
I am the immortal, a child of the night and darkness dwelling,
There is no sense in running my powers are overwhelming,
I shall hypnotise you and then you'll be under my spell,
Cast your soul into flames, deep within the burning hell,
I'll bite into your neck, the blood flowing like and endless wave,
Savagely I will ravage you, not a drop of crimson I'll save,
As you slowly fade away, pass into the shadow realm, your end,
You'll wonder what pure bliss your experienceing my dear friend,
As you sink lower and lower into the beautiful oblivion of death,
You lose control over everything and draw in one last breath,
One last though occurs in your brain, will you live or die?
I hear that last thought and I take it with your mortal life,
I slit my own wrist and place it at your mouth to drink,
And then into an even darker oblivion you shall sink,
When you rise, you will be just like me, the undying,
There is no more reason for love, don't bother trying,
And now for the rest of your life you will walk with me,
For the days, months and years, for the rest of eternity.
