Every night, (I am so fortunate) will be warm with your slight weight pressure no matter how slick it is with ice outside or how chilled my attitude may be towards you
I could be pulled through endless alleys of dark and well-lit streets full of mixed opinions about my selfish choice to deny your breath- taking presence to those who ought to better serve you
Meanwhile pondering that I will soon be gone placed in some bin or ditch like a cheap bottle soon to be recycled and sorted into elements and base nitrogen will be my greatest contribution
Perhaps you will fake an emotion of earnest sadness to teach, those crushed by this, indirectly-- what a silly thing it is to mourn over something, especially something that never had a face when after a few months ROT will take any possibility of a face forever, just six feet from where you stand, my love
