A fleeting solace
my mind buzzes
so frigid and icy
a strangling reality
I'm numb
my blood hardened and cold
sticks to me like a knife
caressing my skin ever so softly
yet violently
a tragic life
a plee for a saviour
dance with me ever so softly
how wonderful yet costly
breath on my neck
a chilling smile
my memories exiled
grasping for breath
poison me ever so softly
and gently
I love the way it kills me
an enchanting death
sparkle will you
shine a little brighter
I hate you
sing me a song ever so softly
sing until I die
I'm only a lie
mock me ever so softly
because it's beautiful
when you kiss me

After further consideration I feel this poem needs a little more explanation. I also thought I would retitle it.
A dance with Pain
This poem like I posted is very sarcastic. It is about how I can't run away from my pain and how it haunts me. Maybe this will help to understand my poem a little more |
