Forever bleeding, through and through.

I try so hard to meet the depth in your eyes
I can see your soul, naked and exposed.
But you shut me away; cast a shadow over the glow.
I lay here shivering, wanting your warmth about me.
Take me away; bring me to your world.
Let me encounter your mind.
Pull me in…I have no fear.
Show me.
I swear I will stay forever within your prison.
I promise I will bleed.

Cross my heart, hope to die,
I’ll kiss your soul with my last sigh.
If I should scream before I wake,
Stab my heart and make it break.

I laugh bitterly as we walk hand in hand into fatality.
Don’t let go, don’t ever let go…
Yet the darkness beckons…and with one last stare…
Left alone in this world unknown.
Laugh hysterically, and fall upon my knees.
I will scream my love, maybe you’ll hear.
Tears fall as blood once did.
Afloat, face down and carry me away.
Here I come, won’t you wait for me?
Roses are red, red as your blood.
Roses are red, red as my eyes…
Kill me softly, my love, take your time.
I’ll be waiting.

I like the dark take on the ususal soppy "roses are red"
but i'm sorry if this has any true reflection on your life.
Either way, it's a great poem...
