I walk on this winding road
Searching for an answer
Yet I take another step towards more confusion
My question morphs into many
And I am, again, left to wonder my existence
Lord, I pray that you will guide me
Take my hand and open my eyes
For I know that I am lost
I know that I have made many mistakes
And I need to correct them
If I am to ever be happy
I know that you will forgive and accept me
Yet I still find myself feeling unloved
Abandoned and uncared for
My road is turning into rope
And that too will, eventually, turn to thread
Making me lose my balance
Im slowly falling and looking, at the same time
For a hand to grab ahold of
A way to pull myself up
My road is bumpy, and has many turns
And so many times I lose my way
Lord, give me strength

surprised this poem hasnt got more comments cos its ab absolutely brilliant!! filled with great lines like 'My road is turning into rope
And that too will, eventually, turn to thread
Making me lose my balance
Im slowly falling and looking, at the same time' loved the poem from start to fiinsh
