who are you i thought you were my friend, my lover, my reason for being, now it seems all you can do is spew hate and vile things, you are telling all my deepest fears to those who only want to see me in tears i thought you loved me, i thought you cared now it seems if i only dared to call you, you wouldn't be the same person that you were to me when i loved you
who are you i know we didn't end well i know i hurt you i can tell the way you talk about me to my friends yeah they tell me, but in the end i can't help but think that you wouldn't do the things that you do if you still happened to be the same person who loved me when i loved you
who are you you told me that your last true lover hurt you and you couldn't tell her you said she changed before your eyes to someone you didn't recognize then she left without a word do you know how that occurred people change you know they do i'm not the same person who loved you when you loved me

Very sad story. I think many people will be able to relate to this, especially younger adults. Keep on writing the poetry. I like your rhyme scheme. |
