Listen, listen, drifting through the air.
Sweetly, softly, almost not quite there.
Magic, wonder, miracle on earth.
Heaven's bounty sprouting out of birth.
Rapid flutter, passion now erupt.
Joyful endeavor, then ceasing quite abrupt.
Sometimes heavy, staggered and weighed down.
Fallen daydreams, sorrows now abound.
Then changing, tranquil, peace is in your heart.
Easy rhythm, pass through lips apart.
Faintly rhythmic, heart and mind at rest.
No more dancing at something said in jest.
Now listen, listen, shallow frequent pause.
Quiet ebbing, conclusion from the cause.
Barren darkness, empty is the air.
Diminished moments, memories we now share.
Peaceful repose, stillness does take hold.
Floating spirit, glories now unfold.
So listen, listen, gentle is the song.
Fragile, fleeting, moments passing....gone.

I like it! Very descriptive and i love the imagery.
Like your breathing chages and you read to match the stanza. |
