The Morning After

Contributed by notaprettygirl on Wednesday, 5th February 2003 @ 07:20:16 PM in AEST
Topic: eroticpoetry

my eyes flutter open
as sunlight slips through the blinds
i forget where i am for a moment
then i feel your limbs
wrapped so smooth around me
how could i forget

i roll over
to find you resting
as peaceful as i have ever
seen you before
i love to watch you sleep

the rhythmic rise and fall
of your delicate breasts
the way your eyelashes curl
so lightly against your cheeks
the softness and warmth
of your body pressed against mine
the way your hands tangle themselves
so beautifully in my hair

i lie there so quietly with you
among the twisted sheets
soaked with the scent of passion
remembering last night...

the glow of candlelight
shimmering across our bare curves
your blue eyes
wide and seducing
glazed over with hunger

shivering
as your hot kisses
glide along my neck
sliding my hands
down your back
gripping your hips
with such sweet urgency

whimper after breathless whimper
my legs tighten around your waist
as you take me so deeply
running my tongue
along your lips
i taste myself
the way i taste to you...

slowly your eyes open
a smile spreads
across your sleepy face
you pull me closer
as you whisper
"i always love the morning after"
our hands start wandering
once more
