Uranus-ruled
January 20 - Feb.18th
Keyword: Independence - Spirituality

Air is the water-bearer’s element!-
For mankind’s profit, gain and common good,
A thousand things plus one he will invent;-
For Spirit,- Pneuma,- Wind,--loves brotherhood!

His planet,- strong Uranus,- ruling him,
Bestirs on him originality,
With vision,- and strong spiritual scheme,
Cut out to benefit humanity.

A visionary leader, - free of fetters,
Artistic, dexterous,- intuitive,
Determined to ascend the highest ladders
His purposeful ideals to achieve.

Autonomous, with unencumbered hands,
This free-lance, independent zodiac sign,
Will promptly spot and set the latest trends,
But in inventive zest may cross the line.

From his subjective mind he culls the means,-
for bright ideas from vast memory,-
From his objective mind he picks and gleans
The stuff for every-day’s reality.

And gets the clout to always well attend
To every-day life‘s practical affairs,
And pay attention to the task at hand,
And do it well, - the Water Bearer cares.

Detached, - between the mortals and the blessed,
He pours his nurturing waters forth, but Oh! -
Should entities have lost his interest
He’ll water them with calm, - but let them go.!

Intelligence - so unique but not prone
To bow to superficiality,-
Trail blazer bold, - and strong foundation stone
For tasks that profit the community.

He spreads this unique brand of vision wide,
Broad minded, with hermetic aptitudes,
Autonomous a self-sufficient light,
For the perplexed and baffled multitudes.

Two surging pulse-streams rise and then rebound,-
Imagery of strange duality,-
Dew mystical,- that moistens sky and ground
In most extraneous theodicy!.

These dual streams, - they say, - betoken “flight”-
Recall his spread-out feathered wings of yore,
When he soared freely through realms of light-
Says the occult and esoteric lore.

But changing course, -with sudden impetus
He dropped his feathered wings and sapphire girth;
Preferring service as Aquarius-
To quench the dearth of arid planet earth.

Behold the dewy, pulsing- rippling streams!-
Lone human face on zodiac’s calendar,
That changed for urns bright wings and halo beams-
The seers call and hail him "AVATAR"!.

I myself am an Aquarius, and I must say, you've got the astrological stuff about the sign down pat. There were some good rhymes here and everything, and you told a pretty good story. Astrology can also be very easily incorporated into Tarot cards, and the corresponding sign to Aquarius is 17- The Star and for Uranus 0 - The Fool (Not counting the Minor Arcana) which could be added in here for even deeper and all-encompassing meaning. You pulled in a lot about the esoteric meaning for this sign, and as an Aquarian, I say well done!
