Should I call for you?

I think about you every second second
My life, it spins in your favour,
You could take me, if you wanted,
I’d be there to fall for you,
To bloom your flowers and clear the sky,
I’d be your reason to wake up,
To live a life surpassing dream,
You’d want me every moment,
To share your smile in broad daylight,
But would you do as I want you to?
Or is it I that should make the move,
What should I do?
Should I call for you?

I breathe your aura,
Your smile is my sustenance,
I hear your name inside my thoughts,
Penetrating deeply into my mind,
I cannot stop,
You’re always there

But I don’t want to hurt you, dear
You’re my everything,
What if my love for you is dangerous?
Will I ever see you again?
Should I leave us just as friends?
Though I want so much more?
We could live this,
This surreal life,
Where you and I would be together,
Careless of the world around us,
Oblivious to the grudges of society,
But what would you say,
If I made that extra move,
What should I do?
Should I call for you?

Perhaps love cannot be hidden,
Maybe I should show you mine,
After all, it yearns for your soul,
Your acceptance; to wait, it kills me,
And yet the risk it would run,
If you were not to return the favour,
What if then it becomes awkward?
Nonetheless, I can’t keep quiet
To wonder, ‘what if,’ till breath no longer lives?
What I’ll do for you now,
Is ask if you would vow,
To be with me together like turtle doves,
To share each other in eternal love

Wow. Boy do I know how that feels like. But in the end, we lost each other and our friendship was tarnished. He will never know how much I really did love him. I like this poem. Great job.
