Terrain Runner

Contributed by duff on Wednesday, 5th October 2016 @ 11:29:37 AM in AEST
Topic: abstract

To alleviate a life form yearning escape
The countdown to synthetic euphoria
Begins in the white room strapped in

It/'/s mainframe rebooting in bold code

Flight pattern uploaded set supersonic

A fragmented star black suit walking
In vivid existence of its glass fragility

Lost reality dialing deliberate departure
Into blissful constructed permanence

Architectural layers seeking spectrum
Rest for optimum living and whisper

A future sequence found cheating on
The mundane shores of past boredom

Time delivers terrain anonymity to the
Mind/'/s capsulated neon dream vehicle
Allowing agents to drive their own world

What an amazing journey into the surreal.
Finding bliss from the mundane, escape from the norm in synthetic euphoria. The mind is indeed a neon dream vehicle of lost reality.
The only variance is the fuel: a book, a dream, a song, a fragrance, a memory, a drug. And that is always of our choosing.

Great job.
You can read this several times and walk away with yet again something new.

this reminds me of all human knowledge
contained in a let us say, wonderfully
portrayed and vivid glossy screen
Then, only watching a cat play the piano
Or spectacularly saying what it is you mean
but no one not a single soul quips back
that they like, whatever it is you thought
you said.
Layers, like I live near the ocean at sea
level and the surrounding foothills
seem like mountains to my imagination
Just like when I lived in the Midwest as a boy
and viewed distances and cloud formations
like they were incredible mountains
And then, simply by placing a magnet
next to the small box/ it all goes away
like a piece of expensive junk nobody
would ever again want and ends up
scrapped in a heap where the very poorest
in the world delicately pull off of it
the toxic elements which are then collected
and are sold for viewing tap dancing kittens
in top hats superimposed with
the real Bojangles

And alas someones stolen my identity
that I never really had, because no one
quipped, I like.

But I do like. I like a lot.

Nice verse / sad dichotomy
sounds like a surgical removal procedure

I must now perform before your very eyes
ladies and gents, a serious never before
seen and complete dichotomy.which will
remove the part of the brain that gets happy
by seeing fuzzy kittens dance, leaving behinc
only pure logic, or a contextualized realness
like say, maybe, A book.

Peace!
