Back In Flesh

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Saturday, 3rd March 2018 @ 04:58:58 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Back in flesh
I slip into the disorder
sky murals of clouds flow
as I wish for a simple life

sometimes one can think to much
get overwhelmed by a emotional rush
and start to feel so out of touch
you can only sigh

I keep looking for messages
but there are none to see...
some things are better left unsaid.

loveland on a dirty back road
my hearts in the right place
love is a blind ambition
no such thing as a carefree highway

scraping the terrible lie off the steering wheel
the cycle of life keeps spinning
my detachable feelings are dripping
its tiny tears fill the ocean

the world is running down
hates tsunami overwhelms like a deluge
the confusion burns in disorder
we are only bags of water

not one of us is the slogan
that the walking dead build walls on...
the talking heads are to be ignored.

Just cease to care. Go with the flow and hang around to /*****/ people off. I came to that conclusion back in 1991. Self preservation...

It/'/s a cruel world for sure. Great write.
When you least expect it someone will appear and shine a ray of light through the darkness.

This came across as really gritty and powerful.
Glad I stopped along the way to read it, the imagery was superb.
You really let the words fly on this one!!

I like how you pretty much sum it up in your second stanza...Sometimes all one can do is try to breathe and be very still, because as you said, //sometimes one can think too much//.

Well done ;)
