A lovers destiny

Contributed by softerware on Sunday, 24th March 2019 @ 07:24:49 AM in AEST
Topic: obsession

Just we two my love agreed. Yet kept another secretly.
The scent of murder found the air; absent of one lady fair.
Beneath the lake, who shall not wake;
Another place beside her waits
That none need mourn for her embrace.

The scent of murder, huh? Sounds scary. Remind me to never cross her.

I`m consistently amazed how you just keep writing great poems.

Thank you for being you.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
That is what I take away from your piece.
Apparently revenge is best served cold and the
woman that is dead cant get any colder.
a place for the cheating husband?

Amazing piece as always
