I Open My Eyes

Topic: LovePoetry

I Open My Eyes

I Open My Eyes once again
and what do you think I see
A Beautiful lady standing there
who wants to be here with me

I reach out and touch her
I feel her warmth in my hand
She falls gently into my arms
no longer able to stand

The feelings that we both have
quite evident right away
The passion there immediately
what else is there to say

You stop to think, is this a dream
or is she really there
So you close your eyes and open them again
running your fingers through her hair

How utterly wonderful it is
to be so romantically in love
To have someone there beside you
that you are constantly, in awe of
