I go through life pretending its great..
leading you to believe its this perfect fate
But if you look closely past those lies
youll see the truth within my eyes.
I dont know that youve ever realized
but behind this smile, I long to cry..
And deep within this lonely soul
lies more hurt and pain than youll ever know..
What my heart feels, I cannot show..
and where Ive been, no one can go..
Ive made no difference in this world, you see..
for I have wasted the life God has given me.
What I am will never reach what I wish to be
but I continue to live pretending its easy
Though deep inside, I pray for it to end..
I dont want to live a life no one can understand
