Shining through the stars
Eternal in its light
Ever forging forward
Through the endless night
A power showered
From heavens doors
Love unconditional
Covering earths floors
Creator blest, Creator great
You give us hope and truth
May we find you long before
We have wasted all our youth
Tower of our strength
Wisdom of the ages
Fill our hearts with love
Fill our lifes book pages
With acts of kindness
A character strong and true
But most of all
With thanks and gratitude

Iv always find it ironic Shari how when Im thinking of you late at night you wake up and then here comes this beautiful poem filling me up with something good. I so love you my dear Shari! Ill talk to you in the morning!!

once again .. i am not a terribly religious (although very spiritual) man, but i sing a lot of gospel with a group i am in .. and this is as good as any him i have ever sung
all this poem needs is a solid AMEN at the end !!
