When the world gets too much
Shut the door
Emotions too much
Close the mind

Unloved and untouched
The life within growing
The soul within dying
Sorrow and despair
Too much to bear

Burdened mind
Burdened body
The longing and need for escape
To fly so high in the sky
To soar and flit
To float and dive

Return to the body
Return to the mind
Retreat within.
