I never ment to hurt you,I loved you its true.
You were my best friend, and I was there for you to.
Things got so boggled,I could not think,
when they tryed to take my child my heart did sink.
People lived off my kindness, never wanting to pay,
but in my home they did stay.
thats when our love I had to put away.
I knew I was aging, and you just a young man.
I had to make a stand.
do what was right for all concerned,
even the ones I planned to burn.
For you I gave freedom to find someone new,
to give you that child that I couldnt do.
I pray she loves you, and you live that joy,
everytime you look at that new baby boy.
You will thank me someday I hope, for setting you free,
whiles that baby lies sleeping on your bended knee.

| Letting go of some one is one of the hardest things to do , it really drags you down for the longest time. |
