trying to forget you
the truth is i needed
to more than i wanted to
not knowing you

now i have you
it feels so good
i want the feeling i have
when you're near me to

This strikes me as something I would've written a couple years ago while in a certain relationship. Your words are a distant echo of how I felt and how I put those feelings into words. It's oddly familiar, in a way. Weird. Well, anyways, great poem
