I saw you dancing
I saw your tears
your body faded
but I haven''t forgotten
after all these years
I miss you so much
there''s a whole in my heart
the water won''t wash away
my pain from the part
daddys little girl
they always used to say
where is daddy now?
daddy had to go away
but the memories still fill
this silent, vacant place
the iron is still hot
the whiskers scratch my face
what happened to your little girl?
she''s grown up before you relized
how can anyone grow up
without their daddy in their life?
I need you so much now
now that you are not here
teach me how to fly again
calm all of my fears
wipe away the pain
I don''t wanna live
like this anymore
come back into my life
open up the front door
fill our house with life and love
I pray every night
for help from above
I miss you daddy
I need you here
I love you daddy
dry my tears
