All meaningful memories of my life
Always include my Animal friends
Each one forever fondly remembered
Animals give loving kindness with no end,
Were my Garden to have a pretty rose
fore every time they made me smile
fences, yard, roof and driveways would
be completely covered in a very short while,
Though Beauty of these roses could not be
ever compared to fairness of fur or wing;
and the sweetest melody ever of the wind-
cannot match the Animal voice who sings,
Animals have a brilliantly wonderful way
of showing when they care deeply for you
if we humans could be but half as good
our hearts might then be pure and true,
Alas, Animals' Love cannot be bought
for it will always be priceless and free
understanding's wisdom all seen with their hearts
Beautiful Animals Love is what all we humans should seek.

Oh Ladyfawn, this was so beautiful ! What a nice tribute to all our little furry friends! I'm an animal lover and am currently studying to become admitted into vet school, so naturally I found this poem stunning to it's finest.Thanks so much for sharing this,it truly was the best poem on animals out there that I have read.You've made me so happy !!! :)I think I'm gonna give my bunny a kiss now,can't help it ! :)

I can't believe I missed such a powerful write all the time I've been here! You write such fantastic poetry on animals,and with your heart and compassion towards them,it's no wonder. I was raised n a farm
Cows,horses, pigs and goats
Then the fowl geese,ducks and chicken
Cats,dogs and bunny rabits
Never saw any do any harm
Forever giving God His glory
From all creatures man should learn

Another smile inducer...I love, love, love that second stanza! Such a beautiful way to sum up the unmatched devotion of an animal friend. What a lonely life it would be without a pet friend or two.
