I Gaze On..........

Topic: Lifepoems

Though orchids green call to me
And blue skies,they ever wait
Though much lies in this world for me to see
In the lands upon which i stumble ever pursuing my fate

Though there remain dreams unseen and many songs unsung
Sweet waters untasted in lands far-flung
Though my tired wearisome feet ever direct me to the sea
To sail over the waves of foam to where my heart can be free
But still i battle this desire with all my will
For i choose it my destiny to conquer yet the highest hill

And as i stand today once again i turn my gaze upon those lands
To quench my tired soul's thirst i search for dreams beyond the sands
But the day i finally leave for those shores must wait
To unlock my deepest desires as i walk past that gate
For i know there still remains work to be done
And i hope to walk another mile before in the sea drowns the sun
