Wonderland Wizards And Yellow Brick Roads

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Thursday, 17th September 2020 @ 08:50:19 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Last night
the cat in the hat were hanging out
talking bout sam I am
and trying to understand
what green eggs and ham was about
then Alice texted me
she was vexed
and could I come down
something bout the red queen
come go to the rabbit hole now

So I took the yellow brick road out of town
to the enchanted forest
where talking monkeys were flying around
I ran into Eltons Alice
talking about how she feels
couldnt pay attention got to stoned
from the poppies in the field
while listening to the songs about grey seals
now I am wondering
if that grinning cat in the trees is real
and what is his deal

Wonderland wizards and yellow brick roads
weave a tale in my mind
on a strange kind of flow
into the burning confusion I go
where the outer limits
mingle with the twi light zone

The landscape keeps changing
but
I can not stop what has begun
I continue on
I have to reach Alice
before the morning sun

arriving at my destination
I hear someone screaming
off with her head
but I can not come in
because the door mouse is dead.

This gave me a laugh- thank you. I was definitely grinning from ear to ear reading along on this whimsical adventure. Sounds like quite the night!
I loved the third stanza especially and how it flowed together. Good one.

I found this quite quirky and off the wall, which is never a bad thing.
Reminds me what a great tool the imagination is and how we should nurture and keep it burning brightly.
Too many people stagnate in this world, I am glad you are not one of them
