They got us in their pocket,
we’re all nestled in,
it’s way to late to stop it,
they/'/ll slip the needle in.
They put the test upon us,
we fell right in line,
masked and social distanced,
with barely wince or whine.
So now we’re gonna get it,
no more food for you,
and the one’s you scorned as liars,
will realize their truth.

| I am so confused. Who is taking food? Who are the liars? Why is wearing a mask and social distancing to save lives a control issue in your poem, rather than a necessary sacrifice? So many questions. |
