Master of Wealth

Contributed by deserea11 on Thursday, 7th July 2005 @ 05:24:04 PM in AEST
Topic: obsession

Misty dew fogged over, again I await, the cruel blow of his sword, moments away.Late with the sun I know snow is his friend,he knows my true fears, awaiting my waiting, drawing ever so near, trapped in the world of this forgotten ghost I canot see anymore, but still feel this pain. Why is the calm cold,so colder now, alas soon to be froze only when he so clever, rotten, destroys,if urgent sympathy forgot,no rules obeyed,in absence he stays. Not I says the king,it is he who throws warmth, that melts ice frozen hate, eyes to hide, jewels lusted in death.Hidden and forgotten eyes and mirth, cruel but laughing, fear within master of wealth. He holds the sword, my excistence glows, for he is my shadow, surprises not to forget,a constant awakening, regret in regret. So lonely pleasure, abled to share, while kneeling in ready in quiet fear and dispair, shall not view or discust for my unwanted needs,to have we shall beg not wishing the need.In fear and depth comes winter with hope, fear summer was but yesterday,or better it last year, water is pure light the sun and dark hues, allas does reep.Taking in its kind views. Fortune and wealth, courage yields free greed,Stupitity glooms loudly, and humility sought, sly eyes great hunger, gorging the waste,Desire the sword with open want,My fear is my savior,a cowards defeat,Take all you that want for today!
"MY SOLE I WILL KEEP."

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
